Become a Museum Stakeholder

The Tobacco Farm Life Museum is a private educational non-profit organization, which is dependent on individual, business, and corporate donations for its continued growth. The museum does not receive state or federal dollars to support its operation. You can help preserve the past by visiting the museum, donating artifacts, making a financial gift, or volunteering your time.

The Museum is internationally recognized and is a member of several state and national organizations, such as the American Association of Museums, Association of State and Local History, North Carolina Museum Council, Southeastern Museum Conference, and the North American Farmers Direct Marketing Association. We have won several awards recognizing our programs and restoration of the Iredell Brown Farmstead.

Stakeholders assist in maintaining and operating the museum and its year-round educational programs. We invite you to help us preserve the heritage and culture that is unique to rural eastern North Carolina. Your support is vital to our success.
