The Boyettes lived on the family farm in the Glendale Community six miles from Kenly - on land originally given to "Georg Boyett" by a land grant in 1800. They were the parents of seven children: Ray, Doris, Theramae, Edith, Nancy, Peggy and Priscilla. The family home has been restored by Grandson Don Boyette and wife Chris.
