Delia Crumpler Scott

Delia was born in Johnston County on April 19, 1942 to the late Clement and Myrtle Mae Barnes Crumpler. Delia retired from her work with the Department of Social Services in the Fraud Investigation Department. Delia attended both the Kenly Missionary Baptist Church and The Bridge Church in Princeton. Delia was a true Christian lady who loved God and lived each day showing those around her what faith in action is all about. She was an ordained minister and very proud of her studies of the Bible and serving the Lord. Delia truly loved and cared for every single person she ever came in contact with. Delia is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Owens, Gary Scott, and Jeffrey Scott all of Kenly and Michael Scott of Princeton; daughters, Sandra Hayes and Delores Daniels and her husband Keith both of Kenly; sisters, Denise Pope and husband James Grey of Kenly, and Cindy Edwards and her long time companion Richard Casselberry of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Jordan Hayes, Jada Owens, Amanda Kinnes Tanner Hayes, Bailey Owens, Sara Liles, TJ Scott, Brody Daniels and Ethan Scott; and her great grandchildren, Sadie and Jacob Hayes, Jaden Kubenetz, and Liam and Callie Kinnes. In addition to her parents, Delia was preceded in death by her brothers, Mike Crumpler and Everett Crumpler and her sister Janet Crumpler.
