Wooten, Larry

Larry Wooten served as president of the North Carolina Farm Bureau for twenty years, advocating for NC farmers through state and national lobbying efforts. Prior to taking on that roll, Wooten farmed in Pender County. He was also part of NC State’s first class of the Philip Morris Agricultural Leadership Development Program.

This page was given in honor of Larry Wooten by the Tobacco Farm Life Museum Board of Directors to commemorate Wooten's receipt of the Excellence in Agriculture Award of 2012.
