The Tobacco Farm Life Museum is excited to partner with the Town of Kenly and the Kenly Area Chamber of Commerce to usher in the holiday season with a full schedule of Christmas activities starting on December 2nd!
On Thursday, December 2nd at 7 pm the Town of Kenly presents the Kenly Christmas Parade. Returning after a hiatus last year due to the pandemic, the parade route winds its way through downtown Kenly. Come out and watch the parade to get into the holiday spirit! Keep a special eye out for the Museum’s float!
On Friday, December 3rd the Tobacco Farm Life Museum will present a special walk through of our 2021 Christmas Village from 6 to 8 pm, with new exhibits and an even larger collection of holiday lights and decorations on display. This event began last year as a drive through alternative to our former Candlelight Tour. This year the drive through will continue, but the first night will be a special, free walk-through night for our community. In addition to the lights, a food truck will be on site as well as entertainment. The Kenly Area Chamber of Commerce presents Christmas on Main on Saturday, December 4th from 9 am to 2 pm on Main Street in downtown Kenly. The festival features holiday shopping vendors, food, children’s activities and more. The Museum will have children’s crafts and free coloring books in our booth. Also on Saturday, December 4th the Tobacco Farm Life Museum’s Christmas Village Drive Through will begin allowing cars to drive through our updated light and décor show. The event will last from 6 to 8 pm on the 4th as well as on the 10th & 11th and the 17th & 18th.
