A Tribute To Our Mother
She was not a president or senator or even a well known person. When her husband died at a young age she was left alone to raise ten children. She did this without the help of any of our government social and welfare programs.

She did not have much in material things, but one thing she did possess was a great abundance of love for all those she knew. Not only for her children but for her all the children she came in contact with in the more than twenty years she worked in the school cafeteria. She faced each day's problems with a challenge. She deserved more from life than she received, but was content with what she had - her children, family and friends. She was not only our wonderful mother but our dearest friend, Ossie Overman Vick.
