Stepping into the Past Saturday Series

Just another benefit to spending a Saturday with us!

One Saturday a month we have demonstrations and displays of traditional arts, crafts, and trades right here on site and included with your regular admission. 

Activities take place from 10 am-2 pm (unless otherwise noted) on the following Saturdays in 2020. 

February 8 - Food Processing: Hog Killing Demonstration (activities from 8am-11am)

March 14 - Working the Land: Antique tractor displays/Farmer Appreciation Day

April 11 - Capturing Our Past: Painting class (Two weeks advanced registration required, minimal fee to participate)

May 16 - Fabric Arts: YoYo Quilts

June 19-20 - 301 Endless Yard Sale

July 11 - Sweet Treats: Ice Cream Churning on-site

August 8 - 'Baccer Stringin' & Tyin': Demonstrations of preparing tobacco for curing and selling

September 12 - Capturing Our Past: Painting Class (requires advanced registration and a fee to cover materials)

October 10 - Fabric Arts: Quilting (requires advanced registration and a fee to cover materials)

November 14 - BBQ Cook Off Challenge - BBQ and Family fun activities

December 4 (Friday) - Candle Light Tour: Candle light tour of the grounds, Santa's Workshop

December 5 - Kenly Christmas on Main: Holiday decor and activities in Downtown Kenly
